Where is your life going?
What is LIFE really all about?
According to Hebrews 9:27 in the Bible, “…it is appointed unto man once to die….” Death is inevitable.
Where would you go if you died today? My friend, Heaven is a real place, and you can know for certain that you are going there.
I John 5:13 says, “These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life….”
How can you know the way to Heaven? The answer Jesus Christ gives us in His Word is found in John 14:6. “…I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”
God loves you and wants you to go to Heaven when you die. Here are the things you must understand and believe in order to know the only way to Heaven:
1. God’s Word says that all people are sinners.
Everyone was born into this world with a sin nature. You cannot get to Heaven on your own because of your sin. Our sin separates us from God.
“As it is written, there is none righteous, no, not one.”
“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.”
2. There is a price to be paid for your sin.
“For the wages [payment] of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”
If you try to pay what you owe as a sinner, you must spend eternity in Hell, separated from God. Baptism, church membership, or any other good works are not sufficient to pay the price for your sin.
3. The good news is that Jesus paid your sin debt for you on the Cross.
“But God commendeth [shows] his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath [Hell] through him.”
4. Jesus wants to forgive you of your sin and give you the gift of eternal life in Heaven.
If you believe that Jesus is the Son of God who died for you, was buried, and rose again, then forgiveness is just a prayer away.
II Corinthians 7:10
“For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation….”
“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast.”
5. You must personally pray and receive Christ by faith as your Saviour.
“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.”
“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
