Tabernacle Christian School (TCS) has been designed around
the Word of God and the personality of His local Church;
therefore, it cannot change upon the preference of man. It
is required that all students attending Tabernacle Christian
School attend a Bible-preaching church, including the
Sunday School, worship, Sunday evening, and mid-week
services.
Tabernacle Christian School, by its own right as a private
religious institution, reserves the privilege of setting and
maintaining its own standards for student conduct and
scholarship. The school reserves the right to refuse
admittance to anyone it so chooses and to suspend or expel
any student who violates the standards set down in this
handbook.
The
enrollment procedure is as follows:
The
Principal will have a conference with the parents of all
prospective students. Students applying to grades seven to
twelve will be included in the conference. A conference
with kindergarten and elementary students will be at the
discretion of the Principal.
To enroll
in K4, a student must be four on or before October 1 of that
year.
To enroll
in K5, a student must be five on or before October 1 of that
year.
Secure an
application packet. Complete and submit the packet to the
school office. The packet must be accompanied by a
non-refundable registration fee. A student is not
considered enrolled until the forms are completed in their
entirety, the registration fee received, entrance testing
completed, and final approval is made by the Principal.
Entrance
tests will be given to all new students (grades one- twelve)
as part of the admission procedure to aid in grade
placement, evaluation of the student, and identification of
potential problem areas. Admission and grade placement are
at the discretion of the Principal.
State law
requires that the student’s immunization records be filed in
the school office. New immunization records are required
for those entering K4, K5, 1st, 4th 7th,
and from all new students.
